Outlook
For the year ahead, the retail division will continue to contribute positively though it will operate four department stores as from mid–August 2007 in Singapore with the closure of Metro Tampines then. The four department stores in Singapore and five in Indonesia seek to show improved sales and profit contribution even as we celebrate our 52nd Anniversary in Singapore. Efforts to expand the business operations in Indonesia will see the opening of an additional department store in Jakarta in the third financial quarter.
