We would like to thank our Metro shoppers for their generous donations and Metro staffs for their effort in obtaining donations through the Staff Pledge Card to the Metro for Children Fundraising Campaign 2008! Together we raised a total of $71, 132.24 from 1 to 24 December 2008. The funds will be donated to Singapore International Foundation and Pioneer Junior College to allow Singaporean volunteers and students to perform skills development and/or community projects with humanitarian service organizations in Cambodia and Vietnam this year. We would also like to acknowledge and warmly thank our partners in this fundraising drive: Pioneer Junior College and Singapore International Foundation.
