  Terms & Conditions
  1. The Metro Card may only be used at Metro Stores in Singapore.


  2. The Metro Card must be presented at the time of purchase to entitle the Cardmember to the privileges. All privileges shall cease upon expiry of the Metro Card.


  3. All discount privileges are subject to stock availability. Metro may at its absolute discretion and without notice or giving any reason to any Cardmembers amend, vary, modify, restrict, suspend or withdraw all or any of the privileges or introduce any new privileges.


  4. The Metro Card is not transferable.


  5. Metro will not be responsible for verifying the identity of the user of the Metro Card and will not be liable for any loss, damage, theft or unauthorized use of the Metro Card.


  6. If the Metro Card is damaged, lost or stolen, a replacement Metro Card may be purchased at S$10 on such terms and conditions as may be determined by Metro. Any damaged Metro Card must be returned to Metro before a replacement Metro Card may be issued. Any lost or stolen Metro Card recovered by the Cardmember shall not be used and shall be returned to Metro.


  7. The Metro Card shall not entitle the Cardmember to any discount/privileges if used in conjunction with any other offer/sale/discount, discount/membership card, privileges/loyalty program, promotional voucher or similar scheme.


  8. Metro’s decisions on all matters relating to or in connection with the use of the Metro Card, including but not limited to the privileges, shall be final and binding on the Cardmember and no correspondence shall be entertained.


  9. The Cardmember authorizes Metro to disclose information regarding the Cardmember to any third parties as it deem fit. The Cardmember shall promptly notify Metro of any change in the Cardmember’s particulars.


  10. Metro shall not be liable in any way:


    • For any malfunction, defect or error in any terminal or other data processing equipment, software or system used to process Metro Card transactions whether belonging to or operated by Metro or other persons;


    • For any delay or failure in processing Metro Card transactions because of any electronic, mechanical system, data processing or telecommunication defect or failure, act of God, civil disturbance or any event outside Metro’s control or the control of any of Metro’s servants, agents or contractors;


    • For any damage to or loss of or inability to retrieve any data or information that may be stored in the Metro Card or any microchip or circuit or device in the Metro Card or corruption of any such data or information, howsoever caused; and/or


    • For any fraud and/or forgery in relation to the Metro Card perpetrated on Metro or any of Metro’s servants, agents or contractors.



  11. Metro reserves the right to change the terms and conditions governing the use of the Metro Card from time to time at its sole discretion. Metro may provide notification of such changes at Metro’s website www.metro.com.sg or at Metro stores or by other means of communication as Metro may deem fit and shall be effective as of the date specified by Metro in such notification.


  12. The Metro Card must be presented at the time of purchase to entitle the Cardmember to the privileges. All privileges shall cease upon expiry of the Metro Card.

  • Accumulate S$300 nett worth of original Metro receipts within three consecutive months and present these receipts at any Metro Customer Service Counter to register and instantly receive your Metro Card!

  • To apply for a Spouse Card, an S$10 application fee applies.
  •  

  • All Metro Cards are valid for two years from the date of issuance. A Spouse Card’s validity is in correspondence to the Metro Card.
  •  

  • To automatically renew your Metro Card, simply accumulate a spending of S$500 within two years at Metro and a new Card will be mailed to you.
  •  

  • To renew a Spouse Card, an S$10 renewal fee applies.
  •  

  • Receipts from purchases made by Metro Card, Metro Gift Card, Metro Gift Voucher or Metro Shoppers Cheque are not eligible for the application of a Metro Card.

 

 

 

 

 

  • How do I apply for a Metro Card?
  • Simply accumulate S$300 nett worth of original Metro receipts within 3 consecutive months. Present these receipts at any Metro Customer Service Counter to register and you will receive your Metro card instantly.

     

  • What are the benefits for Metro Cardmembers?
  • Members will enjoy a 10% discount* all year round and 20% discount* on their birthday month as well as many other exciting promotions.

    *Discount is only applicable to blue price tag merchandise.

     

  • What is the validity of Metro Card?
  • All Metro Cards are valid for 2 years from the date of issuance.

     

  • How do I apply for a spouse card?
  • A spouse card can be applied at any Metro Customer Service Counters with a S$10 application fees. Spouse card will have the same expiry date as the principal card.

     

  • How do I qualify for renewal?
  • Just accumulate a spending of S$500 within the 2 years membership and your renewed card will be sent to you automatically. To renew the spouse card a S$10 renewal fee applies.

     

  • How can I track my total accumulated purchases in my Metro Card?
  • You may login to your personalised webpage at www.metrocard.com.sg using your NRIC and 6 digit default pin which is your date of birth. Similarly it can be found on your receipts when you make a purchase.

     

  • How do I update my profile?
  • You may login to your personalised webpage at www.metrocard.com.sg using your NRIC and 6 digit default pin which is your date of birth. Alternatively you may contact Metro Card Centre at 67311330.

     

  • I have lost my Metro Card, how can I get a replacement?
  • Please visit any Metro Customer Service Counter for a replacement card. A S$10 administration fee will be imposed.

     

The Metro Card privileges are not applicable for online purchases of Metro Gift Vouchers / Metro Gift Cards. Free delivery for nett purchase of S$100 and above. Our hotline is open from Monday to Friday, 9am-12:15pm, 1:15pm-6pm, except on public holidays.
